Delinquent/Disconnection Notices Collections

  • A water and sewer account is considered delinquent if payment is made after due date.  
  • A Late Fee of 10% is added to all bills received after due date.
  • If payment does not reach the city by due date a  Delinquent/Disconnection Notice may be sent out to the Homeowner, if Notice is mailed out a $25.00 Administrative fee will be added to total of bill.  
  • Homeowner will have 10 days from date of letter in which to pay the full amount.
  • If full payment is not received by the Notice's due date, the water service to the property will be disconnected and will not be reconnected until the past due amounts and a $250.00 reconnection fee has been paid in full.

  • The city council makes all decisions on any and all billing. The city staff is not able to make any adjustments/agreements without prior approval of the council.
